Call of duty Modern Warfare 3 Elite:

There is new leaked information on Modern Warfare 3 released by Kotaku. While Treyarch introduced Zombie Mode into the Call of Duty games developed by them, Infinity Ward has now implemented a mode similar to Zombie Mode. It is the Spec Ops Survival Mode, where hordes of enemies attack you in waves. There are other Spec Ops modes such as mission mode where you are given an objective and must take down enemies along the way.
It has also been revealed that the online multiplayer will have 20 available maps. Though there are no screen shots of the online multiplayer maps, it has been hinted that New York, London, Berlin, and Paris, which are in the single player, will be on the online multiplayer as well. There has been little footage of what the Spec Ops Survival mode looks like and what maps are available for it.
Some of the perks included in the multiplayer are Blind Eye, Assassin, Point Guard, Dead Silence, and Recon. Blind Eye gives you immunity from computer and player controlled killstreaks. The pro version allows you to lock on faster with launchers and gives you extra bullet damage to vehicles. Assassin makes you invisible to UAVs, thermal, and heartbeat sensors. The pro version makes you immune to counter UAVs, and hides your clan tag, name, and red crosshairs. Point Guard counts every two assist kills as a whole kill. Dead Silence will most likely be the same as in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Recon will be some type of motion sensor radar available on you at all times.

Some the killstreaks have been revealed which are EMP grenade, Precision Airstrike, Stealth Bomber, Littlebird, Remote Turret, Escort Airdrop, Remote Mortar, and Directional UAV. One killstreak that has been confirmed as removed is the Tactical Nuke. It has not been confirmed yet if these killstreak are not stackable like in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Modern Warfare 3 will now have team perks, which will most likely be a defensive style of perk, like Blast Shield, Health Regen, and Stun Protection. We cannot guarantee that these killstreaks will remain in the final version of the games, because it is usual that the multiplayer gets tweaked and modified before the final release. This game is just months away from its release date and we'll just have to wait to see what features will truly be released.

Child Play - The Present Generation!

Fight... Fire down the hole... Attach... Destroy them... Finish him! Those are the voices that you'll hear in video and computer games. Shocking? Yes, these words and voices are for real but the most shocking of all is what the children see. But what drives children to still play these video games?

Video Games and there alike as a whole are created to entertain people, adult and children. Most of them are fun to play with especially when you know how to play the game. These games vary in their creation it may be as easy as Pacman and as difficult as Starcraft or Counterstrike but all in all they are all just click and play. But what really drives them? One thing for sure its visual, something look beautiful and appealing to the eye is worth watching plus add up the interactivity then viola! You got yourself hooked up.

A lot of Filipino children don't have this kind of entertainment showcase in their house. So how would these children play as often as they want too? Let me see... hmm... video games... where can we find these video games? Well to name some, there are lots of Arcades in malls and play station in some computer cafe or rentals. So that's where they get to play those games. A walk away from their house and one ride of jeep to the mall makes every video game accessible to kids anywhere and everywhere.
I remember when I was still a child the first video game that I have played was made by Atari. Shooting the parachute falling from above which are rendered in a black and white, the main objective was don't let those parachute land on your territory. Too simple ha! As a kid back then I was really amazed and that was a decade and a half ago. Now, these video games had evolved and become more appealing to children and they can easily influenced by whatever they see and hear. They are more likely compared to a computer what would be the input would be the output.

Just recently, I manage to read some article from the Philippine Pediatric Society about the effect of the video and computer games that children play. It is said that most of these children who's playing computer or video game lives a sedentary lifestyle. What was a sedentary lifestyle? According to the Philippine Pediatric Society it is a motionless activity of body parts and if children are living this kind of lifestyle it may increase the possibility of having a cardiovascular disease, obesity or morbidity. Why? It is because they don't exercise and do something. There are only few parts of their body does the movement. Some of these are the eyes, hands, fingers and the butt. Sitting for hours will sure give you a Guinness World Record. According to the article these are just the physical effect, so meaning there are more side effects. In terms of socialization children become socially inadequate and immature. A child with a playmate instills the feeling of having a playmate unlike in video or computer games, they instill the feeling of competition and reset button whenever they fail to do the task. Also according to the article children do have hard time coping with frustration and failure because of the idea of resetting. It is also expressed in the article that children may become short-tempered, aggressive and prone to commit violence because of some gruesome scene in the game. It is indeed true because you will really notice it to children in the community and it shocking to hear a six year old kid saying some of those words.

The rampant increase of these video and computer games are uncontrollable but if parents have established a deeper relationship with their child and having a parental guidance or a family conversation once in a while telling that this games are not good to play for their age. It is also good if parents will encourage their children to play out-door games like run and tag or the like with this it will instill and restore the value of child play.

How To Choose The Best Gaming Monitors!

It's no surprise gamers take their computer and computer-related devices very seriously. The reason is that they spend a tremendous period of time with such products; it seems sensible that choosing the right model may well be a long procedure. This rule does not apply, however, strictly to the desktop itself. While that is certainly a substantial purchase, the gaming monitors are nearly as important. It's the strategies by the fact that the gamer has the ability to view the game, and therefore, heavy game fanatics take their very own gaming monitors very seriously.
Choosing the right model, however, could be very overwhelming. After the computer, the monitor is likely to be the piece of equipment that puts you back by far the most, and because it may be a significant investment, it's imperative that you aquire some good help should the decision turns out to be challenging.

The primary key to determine is that if you want to go with the less costly (but aged) CRT gaming monitors or even the newer (but ultimately higher priced) LCD selection. Almost every gamer chooses the latter, and even though these gaming monitors would usually be more expensive. However, there is certainly a bunch of great news. Because they've basically taken over the computer monitor world, basically wiping out the CRT styles, LCD monitors are getting increasingly cheaper. This will make them an exceedingly viable selection for your gaming monitors.

The benefits of LCD monitors are plenty of and, without reference to price, cause them to become a smart choice. They're not only generally lighter and smaller in size, they even use much less power, which can be good for the Earth along with your monthly power bill. One other main benefit to LCD gaming monitors is always that the video is easier on your eyes. Especially if you are usually staring at the screen for lengthy durations of time. That alone is unquestionably an edge to proudly owning an LCD monitor. Provided that gamers are likely to spend extended amounts of time in front of the monitor, a gaming monitor will almost exclusively be an LCD type of screen.
Another major factor in deciding which gaming monitors to purchase would certainly be size. This is largely an individual preference, however, if you want your game playing adventure to get as real and remarkable as you possibly can, a larger screen might just be exactly what you need. Usually, gaming monitors are available in sizes between 15 and twenty-three inches. Lots of people choose 17 inch monitors, finding this size large enough to meet any game playing needs without having to take up an excessive amount room on your desk.
Maybe the most crucial key to consider, however, often is the monitor's response rate. On the whole, response rate will be understood as being the time that it takes for each and every individual pixel to react to a color change. Whether it takes more than the expected time, you are going to experience what's named "ghosting." This is the time a picture lingers on the screen, therefore it may be absolutely terrible to the gaming experience. If you are purchasing together with the intent to use it as a aggressive gaming monitor, make sure that the response rate is at or under 8 milliseconds. This can be one primary aspect where the CRT monitors offer an advantage, often featuring a response rate of as little as 2 milliseconds.
LED gaming monitors have seriously gained a substantial popularity especially with its loaded with advantages over the previous technologies. It's no question that the more intense gamers are opting these kinds of monitors! Quietly, you will see comparisons of every style of gaming monitor; see what one is perfectly suitable for you. Below, are the top deals on the market today, including highest reviews, specifically identified towards the gaming method of user. Also, every important features to make note of when searching:
Display Port: Heralded to be the successor to the cable type HDMI and DVI, Display Port is often a higher bandwidth connection that will facilitate lighter and thinner monitors since they would not require unique circuitry (and electronics to operate that circuitry) to obtain video signal. Adoption for this technology has been sparse, thus far as you would expect.
Pixel response rate: This indicates how rapid a pixel can turn colours, calculated in milli seconds (ms); the lower the milliseconds, the much faster the pixels can change, thus lowering the streaking or ghosting effect you may perhaps see within a changing or moving image. According to new studies, however, it's likely you will not see any streaking or ghosting in a modern monitor when watching a film.

Input lag: A delay during which the monitors' image stays behind what's been sent to the screen. Not every person notices input lag, and vendors rarely, if ever, quote this figure about their monitors. Input lag affects gamers the most. If split second reactions are paramount as part of your gaming sessions, perform some research as to a gaming monitor's input lag before buying.

Ergonomic options: Most monitors offer a point of screen tilt, usually thirty degrees back and five degrees frontward. Some will include a swivel aspect, many offer height adjustability, and some panels may also pivot between landscape and portrait modes, making legal-size documents and web sites simpler to view. Some LCDs usually are attached with VESA-compatible mounts that hook up with third-party wall mounts or swinging arms.
Screen resolution: Dictated by screen size, aspect ratio, and often the manufacture's digression. Make sure you are at ease with an LCD's indigenous resolution before you buy it. Remember, an LCD gaming monitor that scales its graphic into a non-native resolution will never look as good.
USB: Many screens have USB ports. Generally, they aren't powered hubs, but simply convenient ports to plug in low powered devices like a mouse or a keyboard, thereby decreasing the tangle of cables that usually run directly into the computer tower.
Audio: Some gaming monitors offer audio capabilities, either as standardized items or as optional extra accessories. These may include a volume control, embedded speakers or a headset jack. On the whole, these speakers are of reduced quality, with an low-priced thirty dollar audio system from an office supply or computer store will most likely provide greater sound.

Viewing angle: Largely dictated by recent panel technology. The physical structure of LCD pixels could potentially cause the brightness and possibly even the color of images to change for those who view them from an angle rather than facing the screen directly. Take manufacturers' specifications seriously, as they test their product to construct it!
This T.V can be used as a computer monitor as well!

Gaming Desktop - Enough Power to Run Anything

When you're thinking about gaming desktop, you're not just thinking about awesome gaming rigs capable of displaying the most realistic visuals out there, but a machine built with every specification to suit demanding applications. Gaming PCs are configured to run the best modern games today, but they can also be used to work in high-end applications which demand a lot of hardware power to run properly. You can use a gaming desktop for a whole array of tasks, ranging from video / audio editing, graphic design, 3D design or any other application which demands a lot from your system's hardware. With this in mind, think about all the benefits you can get from owning such a machine: not only can you game hard, with stunning visuals; you can also work a lot better since it will cut up loading times and improve your work-flow quite a bit.

Usually, such a desktop will incorporate a high-end CPU, with more than one built-in core. These are great for gaming, and are also great for multitasking when your job requires it. Since most applications rely heavily on the amount of information that can be processed, having a powerful processor by your side will improve the way you work by cutting the necessary time needed to get the job done by a decent percent.
You'll be able to run most applications with a quad-core without having to suffer from system halts or choppy operation.
Some of the new line of processors that recently hit the market has come out with the Hyper Threading technology built into them, which allows each separate core to take on two sets of instructions at once. What does this mean for you, the user? Well, in layman's terms, if your system is equipped with a quad-core with Hyper Threading technology, it will act just like an octo-core (just like having eight separate cores on your system).
The same line of new processors also incorporates the Turbo Boost technology which balances the processing power with the power consumption for a more "green" machine. When you need to run games or demanding apps, all cores will fire up to keep up with the application; but when the system is idle, the processor will step down to about 1600MHz to save power and deflate your monthly energy bill.

So having the central processing unit covered, it's time to move on to system memory. True gaming desktop will have plenty of RAM, since it's needed in large amounts for games to run smoothly. The lowest amount of RAM a gaming PC should be having nowadays is somewhere in the range of 4GB. Having this minimum amount will insure the application will run great without glitches or crashes. This is also great if you intend to use your gaming computer for something else rather than gaming.

Graphic designers, for instance will benefit from the added RAM to their systems, since they use applications which do demand a lot from a system, from processor to system memory. It's isn't unusual for them to run at least 2-4 applications at once, so the multitasking capabilities will come in handy.

What Is Fun About Free Online Games?

Free online games come to be a much more popular field of gaming. The most important explanation for this is most probably the typically very simple, but addicting game principles. It is a fact that the most critical aspect of a game is its concept, rather than the most up-to-date and greatest graphics is well known - bring to mind "Tetris" for example.
Lots of casual game developers offer their works cost-free to the open public, and you can find some spectacular highlights among them. An important benefit of these free games would be the fact they are free to play. If you're searching for a way to spend some fun hours without paying a lot of cash, free online games are just perfect for you.

The convenience could not be simpler - annoying and time-consuming downloads aren't necessary. This makes free online games perfectly suited for some enjoyable minutes in the lunch break or at another person´s laptop, without needing to clutter that system with any unwanted software program. All you need is a webbrowser of your choice, and also a somewhat up-to-date installation of the Adobe Flash Player software. However both is found on just about any modern home pc.
Free online games cover every game type you can imagine: From classic jump and run games and role playing games and strategy games or skill- and puzzle games, everything is possible. Everyone should be able to discover a game that suits his taste. The pure number of different games on the net helps with this too.

One may wonder, what interest does a game maker have to have his creation published free of charge? The reply to this really is found in the advertisements that are usually shown around the game, or even as the game is loading. The earnings of the shown advertising enables game developers and publishers to maintain the games cost-free.
The awesome variety, in addition to the free and simple accessibility makes FREE GAMES ONLINE a good way the ideal choice if you are looking for fun without much efforts.
If you're a freelancing developer in the Flash programming language, there are numerous internet websites that will eagerly pay to be able to publish good flashgames. Adobe provides a free 30 day trial of their Flash Software, and that is needed to develop flash applications, and isn't to be confused with the flash player that is needed to display finished flash products.

My First MMORPG - Addiction And My Experience With "Expedicion Holic"

The very first time that I was exposed to the idea of MMORPGs was when I watched the first episode of an anime series called ".hack // sign".
I was probably 15 years old back then, and I didn't even know that games like World Of Warcraft or Maplestory even existed. The idea of a huge and open world for you to explore, full of players from around the world that you could interact and play with seemed extremely awesome! And since then, I wished I could have a broadband Internet connection in order to be able to play one of such games (back then I had a 56 kbp connection and a "Windows 98" computer... so you can figure).

I eventually got a better computer and my first broadband Internet connection. It was exciting finally being able to browse the world wide web all I wanted to without worrying about the telephone bill. I eventually learned about World Of Warcraft and the official name of the genre that I thrived to play: MMORPGs - Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, for those unfamiliar. However, as I learned about the game from the web, videos and even the news and newspapers, I also got to know about the heavy addiction that WoW and other MMOs can cause on certain individuals. That information about people letting a game destroy their lives discouraged me from even look for a MMO to start playing, as I feared that I would get addicted too... but I wanted to try; I really wanted to get that feeling of exploring a huge world, leveling up and meeting my friends in the in-game world!
2 years ago I was talking with a friend of mine about this kind of games, and he told me back then that he was into a free-to-play one called "Holic", but that it got closed down, and that a new version of the game was released for the Colombian & Latin American audience; it was called "Expedición Holic" (it was released a year later in the U.S. as Cloud Nine). He told me his little cousin already started playing it, and that he though about joining the game too. It occurred to me that we could both start playing at the same time, in order to level up together, and he accepted. A couple of weeks later I had upgraded my computer, installed the game, and was ready to immerse myself in an experience that since I was 15 years old I wanted to feel!
So, I chose Ganav Libero as my faction and a Seneka (human) male rouge as my character. Then I was introduced to the game by a little cinematic, I met my friend in the town where I just spawned, I walked around town, and was introduced to a dynamic that I didn't know existed but that is primordial to the MMORPG genre, which was questing. After that, my friend typed something like "what a nice vice is this, isn't it?". I told him he was exaggerating... but he wasn't; it DID become a vice (an addiction) for the two of us.
On one side, playing Expedición Holic was an experience that gave me lots of pleasure: I met a lot of players, from a lot of different countries, that I shared with, chatted with, and even made me laugh uncontrollably at times. We fought epic battles together, completed quests, explored, and goofed around. The game also gave me a very high sense of accomplishment; everyday I played I felt progression, advancement... I felt I was growing. Every level I "dinged", every new piece of rare equipment I got, every new place I could now explore without the fear of being killed by creatures stronger by me... reinforced a feeling in me of achievement and continuous success, even if I had been killed several times, or had to quest for hours to no end...
Now, on the other side of the coin... the sad, but real side... is that everything was just what it was: a game. An illusion. I could have spent the summer vacations when I started playing in actually improving my social life by going out and meeting new people, interacting and sharing with them face-to-face; but instead, I spent literally all days (except maybe for one or two) of those vacations in front of the computer grinding and sharing with my virtual friends, leaving real-life interactions and physical activity "in the shelf".
Not only that, but I kept playing even after I started my next semester at University. I used all the time I could have used to study and strengthen my knowledge to kill monster after monster and hang out with my virtual pals. Eventually my mother "lost it", and screamed in my face (literally) that I was an addict. I pondered about that, and about all the stuff that I have just written: what I read about MMO addiction, how the game "emulated" real life feelings but were just an illusion, etc. I was lucky that I was not as hooked to the game that I couldn't live without playing it. I called my friend on the phone (I constantly met with him in-game), told him to meet me at my mother's house, and with him I uninstalled the game, and explained to him why I decided to do so. I eventually deleted my character when I visited him, but he wasn't able to drop out from the game... he was too hooked. He eventually quit the game after reaching a certain level, but at the expense of wasting massive amounts of time.

Was Expedición Holic fun, and are MMO's fun? You bet they are! They give pleasure, and as I said before, "emulate" emotions that humans crave for, such as progress and human interaction. But are they actually worth your time? Can they be damaging in the end? Well, that totally depends on you. I believe that as long as one applies true discipline, a little bit of MMO fun during the week is not terribly destructive... just like what happens with alcohol and tobacco. -->
